Busan 2-Day Itinerary: Beaches, Temple & Seafood
Busan is Korea’s second city — beaches, seafood and colorful hills. It’s roughly 2.5 hours from Seoul by KTX, and two days covers the highlights.
Day 1: East side
Haeundae Beach
Korea’s best-known beach. Ride the Blueline Park Sky Capsule along the coast for an easy, scenic warm-up.
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
A Buddhist temple built right on the rocks above the sea — rare in Korea, where most temples are in the mountains.

Evening: Gwangalli Beach
Watch the lights of Gwangan Bridge from the sand, with a seafood dinner nearby.
Day 2: West side
Gamcheon Culture Village
Pastel houses stacked up a hillside, with art and lookout points in between. Nicknamed “Korea’s Machu Picchu.” Residents live here — keep it quiet.

Jagalchi Market
Korea’s biggest seafood market. Pick your fish downstairs and have it cooked upstairs.
Getting around
Busan’s metro covers most of this route. The same T-money card from Seoul works here — see first-timer tips.
Next stop? Gyeongju is under an hour away by train.
